JAGS's win over Seasiders was yet another indication of just how well they can play when firing on all cylinders as they have also beaten Peniel twice this season. The match was a personal triumph for Abdul Wuraola who scored three great wins over Jonathan Taylor (13-11 in the fifth), Kevin Dolder (3-1) and John Rankin (11-6 in the decider). Lorestas Trumpauskas added a vital victory over Taylor (3-1) and Clive Carthy and Jerome Jonah both chipped in with victories over John Rankin.

 

 

Round 14

Relegated Wellow House signed off for the season with their best performance of the year as they held fourth-placed JAGS to a draw. An undefeated Lorestas Trumpauskas and Abdul Wuraola held the JAGS side together as they both won their three singles whilst reserve Craig Gascoyne showed up well for Wellow House as he beat both Selwyn Campbell and John Dennison. Campbell's 11-7 in the fifth set victory over Andy Wignall also had a considerable influence on the outcome of the match as Wignall had produced a scorching display to beat John Dennison 3-0.
