Seasiders run riot

“Did you have a good trip to the Seaside?” – seems a polite enough question to ask anyone, but it is doubtful if the JAGS team would have given you a particular cheery reply last weekend! They fielded the same team against the high-flying Blackpool based side as they had against BATTS Team Peniel (whom they had sensationally beaten 10-4), but were hammered 12-2. With Lorestas Trumpauskas beating Greg Baker and Clive Carthy getting the better of Paul Hutchings, JAGS levelled the score at 2-2 but from that moment on Seasiders didn’t put a foot wrong. Johnathan Taylor added wins over Carthy and Trumpauskas, Man –of –the-match Kevin Dolder did the same and Greg Baker and Paul Hutchings both saw off Abdul Wuraola and Jerome Jonah. To really rub it in Seasiders also took both doubles. The all-action Kevin Dolder completed his hat-trick with a fine 11-9 in the fifth victory over JAGS No 1 Lorestas Trumpauskas.
