CLOSE CALL FOR THE CHAMPIONS

Progress had a battle on their hands when they took on Jags in January.

There were many good performances that deserve mentioning.

Clive played an outstanding performance, which resulted with two fantastic wins against Chris Sladden and Tomek of Poland.

Lorestas had a shaky start losing to Jason Sugrue, but quickly recovered and recorded two magnificent wins against Chris Sladden and Marco Esomba.

The champion Progress looked very worried at 5-5, but went on to seal victory 8-6.

With the new found confidence Jags continued in the same vein of form against Byng Hall 1 on Sunday 3^rd of February, winning 8-6.
